Structured lessons

Every lesson follows a customized plan that includes technique development, music reading, repertoire, ear training, and performance skills. We follow a structured curriculum by Alfreds, one of the biggest and most trusted music publishing academic and music curriculums there is. For all instruments we follow the tradional method of using sheet music and notation, no curveballs or cheat ways of learning but a standard notation curriuclum that is the most reliable.

Family owned school

We are a family owned school, so we take pride in our quality and refined approach to lessons. We believe that all instruction should not just be a transactional lesson but longterm friendships between instructors and students. We inspire our students look forward to their weekly lessons not only because of our quality of curriculum but because of the relationships we build with the student and families that come support our school.

Recital programs

Every 4 months we ensure all the students enrolled into our school have the ability to partake in our recital programs! This ensures the ability to showcase the students abilities and progression with us at our school, strengthening morals confidence and musical repertoire!

Our Early Childhood Rhythm Class gently introduces children ages 18 months to 5 years to the joy of music through playful movement, colorful percussion instruments, joyful singing, and structured musical play. Each carefully planned class is designed to build listening skills, a steady beat, coordination, and early musical understanding while fostering creativity and confidence in a fun, nurturing environment.

GROUP PIANO CLASS

ages 6+

Our Group Piano Course Program follows the Alfred’s Group Piano curriculum, which introduces fundamentals such as note reading, technique, repertoire, and ensemble playing. No prior musical background is required—you can start fresh at any time to discover whether you enjoy piano. If you decide to continue, you’ll have the option to enroll later in private one‑to‑one lessons for more personalized instruction.

We take pride in our group piano curriculum, so you can join at any time and always leave having learned something new through our friendly, patient, and effective teaching styles.

Our Beginnings..

Zuniga School of Music was conceived during an English class in college, a moment that came amid a personal search for purpose. With a passion for music and teaching, we began offering lessons in a family dining room. What started as a small, intimate setting quickly gained momentum through word of mouth and dedication to quality instruction. We come from a large family of 4 siblings, 3 of which became teachers here at our school!

Today a decade later, Zuniga School of Music has expanded into a thriving community of six professional teachers and serves over 200 students. We are a family owned and operated school. From humble beginnings, the school has become the #1 music school in the Woodlands and Spring, providing piano, guitar, violin, and voice lessons to students ages 4 and up. Our humble beginnings have never left us and we treat each student with the care, attention, and sincerity. We take real ownership of what we do and are proud of our work.
